SMALL SCALE TEA FARMERS EARN SH.69 BILLION IN REVENUE

Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA) has today announced that small-scale tea farmers will receive higher revenues from the sale of tea during the 2012/13 financial year.
Revenue from tea sales for the small scale tea farmers this year climbed to Sh 69 billlion up from Sh61 billion earned the same period in 2011/12 financial year – a 12.7 per cent increase.
